Can't You See The Beauty?

It's been months since the last time i had a course in Direct English. One of the natives, Curt, taught me one thing: when a child gets hurt (by falling, etc) they will not cry if they don't see their parent's worried face. He goes on by telling us to use this trick: when chirdren hurt himself, don't show any bad expressions. Put a calm, smiling face, and eveything will be okay. No cries (this method has been used by one of his family member).

Forgive me for being religious, but in a children's innocence, only recently i have realized this beautiful depiction of how men should act, if only they can see God's face. Man do sin, so they fall like a child, but the only people who have ever seen God the Father's face are not here on earth. We can see that only a few people cry, just like a child, when they fall into sin. I am barely sad when I fell into such position. This is because only a few even truly get to know Jesus, let alone seeing his face. I start to think that children cry because they fail their parent's hopes and dreams of him or her being steady on his or her feet, not just because it hurts.

Whether you're religious or not, let us do a favor to our parents by standing steady, avoiding the fall by fighting our irrational feelings.
